These photos were taken at the Hunter Valley Gardens. It is our second visit to the gardens - the first was in Winter when we were in Newcastle for Roland's work - they were still a delight even though mot much was flowering. They spoke about how the gardens are at their most popula in Spring and also in December/January when they have the Christmas Spectacular light display.
Let me tell you they weren't wrong. The queue to get into the gardens stretched for about four (yes - 4) hundred metres. We departed the garden with an hour left to view the lights and I assure that some in the line would not have even gotten thru the door.
It was a fantastic display of lights and themed areas and would have taken months to set up. A true Christmas delight for young and old alike.
It you are in the Hunter Valley region I would highly recommend a visit to the gardens. Please check their website for details regarding opening hours and entry fees.
Until next time........lisa
