With the months speeding along without a thought of what we would love to accomplish it may be time to start enjoying the comfort of working with wool as the cooler mornings and evenings start to make their presence felt.
Wool Whimsy starts this Saturday afternoon and is the perfect nudge to have you working with this beautiful fibre. Of course to tempt you into joining us we have just packed up our latest collection from Sue – titled Outback Rust. A change from the bright colours that have been sent in the past, but this neutral colour can be found around us as we look to our natural surroundings.
Kyleigh is thrilled to have finished her Flower Vase wall hanging from her class with Sue Spargo last year. It has come back from being quilted and the result is breathtaking. Her stunning embroidery has been complimented by wonderful quilting resulting in a wool applique masterpiece. Congratulations Kyleigh, it is really beautiful and gives everyone the confidence and encouragement that they too can achieve a gorgeous result.
Whilst Sue was with us for her weekend class she kindly gifted us a design for a needlecase, which is what I will hopefully be making a start on this Saturday in WW – although if my delightful little birdies (bom), arrive before then I may be tempted to have a little chat welcoming them to their new home. I know that Amanda’s little feathered friends have arrived and she will be bringing them on Saturday – a playdate!
We would love for you to join us on our wool adventure, which begins this Saturday 16 February at 1pm.
I hope you wake up in the morning with the thought that something wonderful is about to happen....
