We fell in love with Rosalie by Valorie Wells whilst in Portland. It is a great quilt which makes the most of those divine large prints that we all fall in love with but are sometimes unsure of how to use. This is the perfect quilt. The pattern is a nifty fold out card which is easy to follow and if you aren't looking to make such a large quilt (pictured finishes at 76" x 89") then the pattern comes with an alternative smaller size. But don't you just love big! We have packaged up some great starter kits to get you under way.
Remembering Portland makes me wander through my photos again and I came across these little darlings which we just couldn't bring home with us - sadly. Majella and I fell madly in love with their gorgeous faces - we would have been heartbroken if anything happened to them on the way home. If you are in Portland they can be found in The Real Mother Goose Fine American Craft store. These were just one of the many delicious goodies that tempted us.
Gearing up for a fabulous three days with Brigitte Giblin so must run. Until next time......lisa
